Course Description

This course develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills through qualitative and quantitative research. Practical Research 1 for senior high school students aims to acquaint students with the concepts, principles, themes, methods, and rudiments of qualitative and quantitative research. It will guide students, through a step-by-step process, in writing the research proposal and conducting quantitative research.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course the student should be able to: 
1.    Discuss the major phases of the qualitative and quantitative research process,
2.    Present a research proposal, either qualitative or quantitative in nature, based on an identified situational problem as aligned research priority agenda
