Hello, students! Welcome to PR 2. I am so excited to work with you this trimester and assist you in achieving your educational goals. I truly look forward to our class and getting to know each of you.

Course Description

This course develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills through qualitative and quantitative research. Practical Research 1 for senior high school students aims to acquaint students with the concepts, principles, themes, methods, and rudiments of qualitative and quantitative research. It will guide students, through a step-by-step process, in writing the research proposal and conducting quantitative research.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course the student should be able to:
1. Discuss the major phases of the qualitative and quantitative research process,
2. Present a research proposal, either qualitative or quantitative in nature, based on an identified situational problem as aligned research priority agenda

About Your Instructor:

Hello everyone!
I am Jyka Reego S. Hipona, your Practical Research 1 Teacher for the second trimester School Year 2021-2022.

I am an alumna of the University of the Cordilleras with the course BSED-Mathematics and I am currently taking a Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management in the same institution. I hope to impart to you my knowledge in this subject (quite an interesting subject isn't it ?)
